Pecan Pie Dessert

Ingredients

- 1/2 C butter
- 1 C sugar
- 3 eggs slightly beaten
- 3/4 C dark corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 C chopped pecans

Instructions

- Prepare crust in pan and chill thoroughly
- Cream butter, add sugar gradually and continue beating until light and fluffy
- Add eggs, syrup, salt, vanilla and nuts
- Pour into shell
- Bake at 375 for 40-45 minutes, checking regularly
- Press pecan halves into top of pie even spaced at 3, 6, 9, 12 o'clock and in between
